Oscar De León started the match with the kick off. Willie Colon struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Apolo Santxol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Municipal. In the 8th minute Claude Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar De León blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apolo Santxol having to make a save. Huckebein were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Atlético Municipal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucjan Kendra took the corner. Huckebein's Everardo Presebal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chuan Cintron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chuan Cintron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Jumancă in the 22nd minute of play. Claude Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Santxol having to interfere. Chuan Cintron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Augustyn in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Marin Jumancă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Municipal's Chuan Cintron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Huckebein booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar De León didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marin Jumancă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Chuan Cintron made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's Willie Colon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Santxol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Huckebein getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Benito Cala hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Silvanito Gainza replaced Azubeli Roman. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Jumancă made a kick off. Apolo Santxol made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Willie Colon sent off a good shot on target. Apolo Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willie Colon in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Huckebein's Apolo Santxol got control of the ball when Willie Colon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Gau Resto replaced Oscar De León. The throw-in from Celio Cruz in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Huckebein's Lucjan Kendra. 82 minutes into the match, Huckebein's goalkeeper Apolo Santxol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willie Colon. After 88 played minutes Huckebein got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Esiquio. The corner ended in Claude Sena almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Huckebein's Apolo Santxol did a great save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
