André Luís Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Wambalamba FC's Robin Steckamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Souza. Samuel Souza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cris Courtois firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cris Courtois made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when 洪延广 sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Donato in the 20th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Martins. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Finnman in the 25th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Angelo Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Fausto Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Vimaro in the 28th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Fausto Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes Wambalamba FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Darko Mišura who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in 洪延广 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 32nd minute Juarês Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cris Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Souza in the 35th minute. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Steckamp in the 37th minute of play. Angelo Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 洪延广 hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Wambalamba FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Samuel Souza made the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cris Courtois came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Club RRFV's Samuel Souza. But to his dismay, Samuel Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Robin Steckamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Angelo Velasco made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Robin Steckamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Souza in the 73rd minute of play. Futbol Club RRFV's Angelo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Futbol Club RRFV from getting a goal against them. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Donato in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when 洪延广 came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fausto Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cris Courtois having to interfere. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Souza in the 86th minute of the match. Futbol Club RRFV's Angelo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Futbol Club RRFV from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute Fausto Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wambalamba FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
