From a short distance, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera, in the 9th minute, tried to place the ball behind Irinel Soneriu, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Irinel Soneriu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Cavalera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Ogro F.C. got a corner. FC Lutanu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerônimo Vergílio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 30th minute, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 33 minutes into the game, Ilie Cazacu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ogro F.C.'s Tanek Poreda quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Igor Cavalera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Igor Cavalera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Irinel Soneriu, 5-0. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irinel Soneriu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Lutanu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Van Halen had several of the FC Lutanu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Irinel Soneriu as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yetkiner Yasun to make the kick off. Irinel Soneriu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irinel Soneriu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ogro F.C.'s Mike Mangini was substituted for Alex Van Halen. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yetkiner Yasun during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when FC Lutanu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position.
