Ogro F.C.'s Thomas Lang managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Egídio Seco in the 7 minute of the game. Cris Courtois made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Igor Cavalera sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Robin Steckamp came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Antunes. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Steckamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute Robin Steckamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Cavalera. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Donato in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Meireles. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Cavalera in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cris Courtois saved Wambalamba FC from getting behind. Thomas Lang hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Donato in the 33rd minute of play. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Steckamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Igor Cavalera notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois. Cris Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

51 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juarês Donato. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cavalera in the 53rd minute of play. Cris Courtois came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera. But to his dismay, Igor Cavalera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Robin Steckamp came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alysson Rezende could save by the left post. After 66 played minutes Juarês Donato rounded Ogro F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. 73 minutes into the match, Dan Zimmermann notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois. Cris Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Marco Minnemann replaced Igor Cavalera. In the 78th minute, one of Wambalamba FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wambalamba FC. In the 85th minute, Mike Mangini made a precise shot to the right of Cris Courtois. Wambalamba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Alysson Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Finnman in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s Thomas Lang got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Carey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Brian Finnman came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Marco Minnemann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ogro F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ogro F.C. had won after a very even match.
