The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the FC Lutanu defense, Maximo Villamarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irinel Soneriu. The FC Lutanu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irinel Soneriu should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Villamarin came free, but Irinel Soneriu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Romaşcanu came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawid Ratulowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Romaşcanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Irinel Soneriu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Villamarin's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Irinel Soneriu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Villamarin in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irinel Soneriu saved FC Lutanu from getting behind. After 38 minutes FC Lutanu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xavion Sorriva who took care of the corner kick. Maximo Villamarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Soneriu having to interfere.

FC Lutanu's Șerban Negulici managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Armando Hera in the 51 minute of the game. Irinel Soneriu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Arnăuțescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Red Reign's Fabian Cerdeño quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Maximo Villamarin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Irinel Soneriu came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximo Villamarin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 58th minute. Irinel Soneriu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red Reign were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after FC Lutanu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xavion Sorriva took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Xavion Sorriva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Irinel Soneriu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 68 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Villamarin came free, but Irinel Soneriu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Romaşcanu in the 69th minute of play. Irinel Soneriu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Maximo Villamarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irinel Soneriu. FC Lutanu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Villamarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Red Reign made a substitution. Derlis Florentin replaced Zigor Ardanza. The supporters of FC Lutanu booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Hera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Yetkiner Yasun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dawid Ratulowski was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. FC Lutanu were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Red Reign's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilie Cazacu took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Lutanu's corner Ilie Cazacu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dawid Ratulowski quite easily take care of the ball. The Red Reign fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lutanu from getting a goal against them. Lopez Portanares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Irinel Soneriu having to make a save. 95 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Arnăuțescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Red Reign's Armando Hera quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Red Reign's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
