Romário Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Zeledon Vachon got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Makaay. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Eduardo Angulo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Murillo Cordeiro in the 33 minute of the game. Tiago Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Makaay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murillo Cordeiro got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wanderson Melo. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 42nd minute of the match. Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaya Sow in the 46th minute of the match. With a little luck, São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi got control of the ball when Roy Makaay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Murillo Cordeiro in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Eduardo Angulo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Makaay in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. São Paulo F.C.'s Ronaldo Crispín was substituted for Vito Travassos. Villaverde Celeste Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guo Ao in the 68th minute. The corner ended in Guo Ao almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi did a great save. The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when São Paulo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes São Paulo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Cordeiro. In the 73rd minute Kıraç Uskan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, São Paulo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kıraç Uskan went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Kıraç Uskan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Villaverde Celeste Clube's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
