Paulo Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alisson Becker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alisson Becker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Kvick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oskars Glada Gäng's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Lago in the 80th minute of play. Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Oskars Glada Gäng's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niclas Danielsson took the corner. The Oskars Glada Gäng fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alisson Becker should have stopped the shot. Vitório Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
