Lucas Savenije breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Evripidis Picoulas hit a great ball. Lucas Savenije showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Paulo Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Savenije having to make a save. With a little luck, Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije got control of the ball when Paulo Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gonzo Style f.c's Emanuele Bertoni got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Mian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Enrico Tassotti made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Dennis Pagliarini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Sergipano, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Percival Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Savenije having to make a save. Paulo Godoi scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Savenije, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Godoi in the 67th minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Vitório Lago made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Savenije. Gonzo Style f.c's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palestra do Interior had won after a very even match.
