Nistor Sârban might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armindo Maltez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nistor Sârban ran back to his position shaking his head. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 5th minute of play. Armindo Maltez came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban. But to his dismay, Nistor Sârban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Armindo Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Sârban in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes Real Brasília FC - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elpidio Umbruso who took care of the corner kick. When Nistor Sârban came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Rega Merida CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nistor Sârban couldn't finish the play. Konstanty Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Wisanggeni, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Armindo Maltez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Sârban's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes Real Brasília FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kris Wisanggeni. In the 38th minute Rega Merida CF were awarded a corner. Elpidio Umbruso went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 40thth minute of the game Nistor Sârban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Armindo Maltez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Nistor Sârban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Nistor Sârban made the kick off in the second half. Real Brasília FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Nistor Sârban scored to the left of an out of position Armindo Maltez, making the score, 0-2. 55 minutes into the match, Romelio Lukaku notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro. Konstanty Wawro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute Kris Wisanggeni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armindo Maltez. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. Rega Merida CF's La Piszczek was substituted for Yaroslav Svitlychnyi. Rega Merida CF's Konrad Knopek was substituted for Nistor Sârban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierrot Uyttebroeck in the 71st minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Knopek in the 77th minute of play. Armindo Maltez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Knopek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes in the game, Abdulhamit Beycan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Armindo Maltez having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's goal looked a bit too open when Romelio Lukaku came free, but Konstanty Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konrad Knopek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Maltez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Armindo Maltez made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Konrad Knopek sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rega Merida CF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
