Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stephan Testaferrata Bonici in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Strong in the 8th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Cordaro. After having played for 17 minutes, Emiliano Furia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Furia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Totakoxe. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Octavio Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 25th minute of play. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Kranevitter in the 27th minute of the match. Matías Kranevitter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Inocencio Veronica made a huge save. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Octavio Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Tino having to interfere. In the 38th minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 38th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Testaferrata Bonici came free, but Inocencio Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Cordaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio spun around in front of the goal 53 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Club El Progreso's goal. Ross Strong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Benjamin Tino made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Tino was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Benjamin Tino made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ross Strong sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Stephan Testaferrata Bonici notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica. Inocencio Veronica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafaela FC's Esteban Ikatz was substituted for Eloy Gipuzkoa. Club El Progreso's Washington Papa was substituted for Adolfo Fidensio. Ross Strong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Cordaro in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club El Progreso's zone, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Tino came out of the goal and Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gonzo came free, but Benjamin Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Matías Kranevitter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club El Progreso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rafaela FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
