The Enhebrator FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Baumer should have stopped the shot. In the 20thth minute of the game Oliver Bierhoff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 24th minute of play. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yang Hui Wen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dries van Veldhuizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Patrone having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Carlos Calvet made a precise shot to the right of Matías Patrone. Los Delfines's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bonifacio Baumer came out of the goal and Arquímedes Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enhebrator FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
