The referee ignored Club El Progreso's protests and gave Diego Portela a yellow card for diving instead. The throw-in from Indiana Jones in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rafaela FC's Emiliano Furia. Inocencio Veronica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stephan Testaferrata Bonici went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Navarro's late challenge caught a Rafaela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. 63 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Guillerme came free, but Benjamin Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stephan Testaferrata Bonici in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Furia in the 76th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Stephan Testaferrata Bonici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club El Progreso were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Rafaela FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matías Kranevitter took the corner. After taking down the ball on Club El Progreso's corner Bonifacio Txindoki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Inocencio Veronica quite easily take care of the ball. Matías Kranevitter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Veronica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Cordaro in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Club El Progreso's Ioan Cândea got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club El Progreso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
