Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torsten Petersson took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Wenerdahl. IFK Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edin Džeko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 11th play minutes Edin Džeko shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Christian Wenerdahl and just under the crossbar into goal. Christian Wenerdahl was a little too slow when Mario Cristofor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edin Džeko got free with Christian Wenerdahl in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 minutes, Edin Džeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GeRaÇãO-83 and the IFK Göteborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GeRaÇãO-83 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edin Džeko hit a great ball. Edin Džeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Wenerdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Jörgen Hammarberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 26 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Blomkvist. In the 30th minute, IFK Göteborg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Medero Gadea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 33rd minute, IFK Göteborg's Jörgen Hammarberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jörgen Hammarberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of IFK Göteborg protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jörgen Hammarberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in IFK Göteborg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! In the 36th minute, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. If Edin Džeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Edin Džeko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Wenerdahl was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 45 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Mario Cristofor. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Medero Gadea was the one to do the kick off. Christian Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Ekgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Edin Džeko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Wenerdahl was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Cristofor came free, but Christian Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Wenerdahl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 71 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Kent Löfkvist. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr managed to get in a good position for a shot. GeRaÇãO-83's supporters rose to their feet, but Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Wenerdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Björn Hult hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Göteborg's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Edin Džeko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 80th minute, Björn Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Muhammadu ibn Abi Bakr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Wenerdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Mario Cristofor notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl. Christian Wenerdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Wenerdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Christian Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the IFK Göteborg and the GeRaÇãO-83 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Ove Lövkvist. There was no doubt that GeRaÇãO-83 were the better team. GeRaÇãO-83's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
