In the 12th minute Mark Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Elduayen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Challestone S.C. booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtun Poblaciones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Elduayen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Ambjörnsson went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Larry Estoyanoff charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Larry Estoyanoff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real de Carmelo 2021 FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Larry Estoyanoff hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Mark Ambjörnsson made a precise shot to the right of Federico Elduayen. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mark Ambjörnssons short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Federico Elduayen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Teodosio Baul took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Pancho. Pepe Pancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pepe Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Estoyanoff in the 32nd minute of play. When Teodosio Baul came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Real de Carmelo 2021 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Baul couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes Real de Carmelo 2021 FC got a freekick which was hit by Larry Estoyanoff. Thanks to some nice moves Mark Ambjörnsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Federico Elduayen however easily saved by the left post. Larry Estoyanoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pepe Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Ambjörnsson got free with Federico Elduayen in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Ambjörnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Federico Elduayen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mark Ambjörnsson scored 5-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Elduayen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Mark Ambjörnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Elduayen.
