The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Naike stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar de Moraes's late challenge caught a Vélez Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Xavier charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 89th minute, Nicolas Roland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vélez Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The throw-in from Bernardo Sayvion in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by OxentePaisa Salcity's Adrianinho Maciel. Vélez Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
