Nicolas Roland took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Kornatowski. Bogdan Kornatowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 26 minutes, Severo Maule managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vélez Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Maule was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaroslaw Czeszyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Elpidio Vitin made a huge save. After 30 minutes, Nicolas Roland made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Peluchita Fc's Bogdan Kornatowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Roland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogdan Kornatowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bogdan Kornatowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Luzaide in the 36th minute of the match. 0-4 became the score in the 39th minute when Nicolas Roland elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bogdan Kornatowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Roland in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Roland in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Kornatowski saved Peluchita Fc from getting behind. After 47 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Roland.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eulalio Abaunza to strike the kick off in the second half. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Zheng Zheng in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Peluchita Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Gaufred to maneuver through the defense. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Naike got free with Bogdan Kornatowski in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 87 minutes on the clock, Celedonio Eriz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Vélez Juniors's Celedonio Eriz got a free kick in the 88th minute. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Obeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
