The audience was convinced that Kim Lekberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Massó was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, PLUMIN's Cirilo Salvino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dochko Rodev. Dochko Rodev made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Simon Ferrer sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Salvino made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Kim Lekberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigo Massó. The goal made the score 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Lekberg in the 54th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Los Andes's Kaj Skager got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
