The tension between the Esquirla FC and the Karaelmas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Benjamin Specht got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Bican Cesur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Orvar Larsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bulut Ushan kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Yetkin Osmanoğulları made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Dedé van Beek sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bican Cesur in the 10th minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Orvar Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Mehmet Emre Orkutay in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Esquirla FC's Dedé van Beek. After 15 minutes Karaelmas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dedé van Beek who took care of the corner kick. In the 17thth minute of the game Arlo Arruta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karaelmas's Yetkin Osmanoğulları was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Esquirla FC got a corner. Karaelmas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dedé van Beek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Esquirla FC's Dedé van Beek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yetkin Osmanoğulları in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arlo Arruta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yetkin Osmanoğulları came out and tried to block the shot, but Arlo Arruta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. Çağan Mürsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Orvar Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Arlo Arruta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yetkin Osmanoğulları saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yetkin Osmanoğulları made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlo Arruta in the 33rd minute of play. Esquirla FC's Orvar Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bican Cesur in the 34th minute of play. If Arlo Arruta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlo Arruta in the 46th minute of play forced Karaelmas's goalkeeper Yetkin Osmanoğulları to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arlo Arruta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Dedé van Beek in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Karaelmas's Mehmet Emre Orkutay.
