Esquirla FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dedé van Beek in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute, Benjamin Specht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Arlo Arruta made a precise shot to the right of Yetkin Osmanoğulları. Karaelmas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 21st minute Arlo Arruta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yetkin Osmanoğulları saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlo Arruta might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yetkin Osmanoğulları. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yetkin Osmanoğulları stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlo Arruta's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Bulut Ushan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Esquirla FC's Dedé van Beek quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 41st minute Arlo Arruta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yetkin Osmanoğulları saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Cumhur Çeliktaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Larsson having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Ahmet Rıfat Özonder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Karaelmas's zone, Arlo Arruta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yetkin Osmanoğulları came out of the goal and Arlo Arruta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Mustafa Cumhur Çeliktaş made the kick off in the second half. Yetkin Osmanoğulları took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlo Arruta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Arlo Arruta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yetkin Osmanoğulları. With his leg Yetkin Osmanoğulları managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlo Arruta in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yetkin Osmanoğulları prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karaelmas's goalkeeper Yetkin Osmanoğulları, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mustafa Cumhur Çeliktaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaelmas's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Cumhur Çeliktaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orvar Larsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lukas Caers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Esquirla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karaelmas the free kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Esquirla FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
