Santiago Farias hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Mathias Bernwurz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Alifonso Marines shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emerson Ferraz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Guido Burgstaller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Mon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jens Albers kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Tadeo Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emerson Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, Vikingbeer FC's goalkeeper Diego Mon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Burgstaller. In the 36th match minute, Vikingbeer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Diego Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel Dautzenberg in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Vikingbeer FC got a freekick which was hit by Corderro Baraña. In the 45th minute Santiago Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Bernwurz in the 47th minute of play forced Vikingbeer FC's goalkeeper Diego Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Derwin was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Severo Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikingbeer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diego Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Schinnenburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Timo Schinnenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Severo Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corderro Baraña kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Karel Dautzenberg shot a long shot in the 65th minute and a light blocked Diego Mon hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1.
