Tristan Franquis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Luis Vasquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tristan Franquis. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Vasquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Inácio Ponta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Feng Chuan Liang hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Luis Vasquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tristan Franquis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute Luis Vasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Franquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Vasquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tristan Franquis having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Moneda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Magheran in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Franquis saved Imperio Catatumbo de Lara from getting behind. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Juvenal Antunes was substituted for Inácio Ponta. 61 minutes into the game, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a rather tough play, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Braulio Castulo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Tristan Franquis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Magheran in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Magheran in the 90th minute of play forced Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Tristan Franquis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ştefan Magheran managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Magheran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Franquis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
