Dacian Ghițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Troiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Pombal came free, but Dacian Ghițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dacian Ghițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Pombal in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th minute Alf Elg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Ghițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cătălin Cosâmbescu to make the kick off. Anderson Pombal scored 0-7 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacian Ghițescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anderson Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
