Christiano Ronaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerald Moermans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christiano Ronaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerald Moermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christiano Ronaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 63rd minute of play forced The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Gerald Moermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christiano Ronaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Unione Sportiva fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Unione Sportiva's Christiano Ronaldo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of The Dalwhinnie Boys booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position.
