He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gerald Moermans. Martin Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Moermans having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Martin Jax reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerald Moermans. The goal made the score 5-0. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Kristoffers in the 37th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Jax was the one to do the kick off. Martin Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
