AYAZAĞA FK's Adulfo Antunez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirolyub Dragoychev in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slavyan Zanev in the 9th minute of play forced AYAZAĞA FK's goalkeeper Adulfo Antunez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulaziz Bender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krum Nikolchov having to interfere. In the 14th minute Zdzislaw Obuchowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adulfo Antunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adulfo Antunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Brask in the 18th minute of the match. After 23 minutes of play, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Sven Brask made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adulfo Antunez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Berke Gümüşsoy came free, but Krum Nikolchov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match AYAZAĞA FK got a corner. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vergil Van Dijk ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Sezgin Aktemur managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 42 played minutes Lokomotiv Plovdiv got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Patrikov. In the 45th minute, Jordi Alba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sezgin Aktemur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

AYAZAĞA FK's Atabek Makbul was substituted for Berke Gümüşsoy. A collision led to AYAZAĞA FK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. İlbey Özbir hit a great ball. Jordi Alba made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Yulian Florov immediately put the ball in play. Sezgin Aktemur hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Lokomotiv Plovdiv made a substitution. Facundo Nazario replaced Sven Brask. Krum Nikolchov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atabek Makbul's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The corner ended in Abdulaziz Bender almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krum Nikolchov did a great save. Muzafer Cannavaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Krum Nikolchov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Facundo Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krum Nikolchov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atabek Makbul, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Atabek Makbul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Krum Nikolchov. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atabek Makbul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 91st minute, Atabek Makbul made a precise shot to the right of Krum Nikolchov. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Krum Nikolchov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atabek Makbul's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Zdzislaw Obuchowiczs short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Adulfo Antunez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Atabek Makbul charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atabek Makbul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. AYAZAĞA FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
