Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krum Nikolchov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Siggman in the 15th minute of play. Sven Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Siggman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Brask in the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Christopher Bogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zdzislaw Obuchowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Wållander having to interfere. The supporters of Lokomotiv Plovdiv booed when Samyang Ramen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Samyang Ramen's goalkeeper Alex Wållander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zdzislaw Obuchowicz. In the 74th minute, Fabrizio Ravanelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samyang Ramen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Samyang Ramen made a substitution. Bo-Erik Apelkvist replaced Fabrizio Ravanelli.
