Mirolyub Dragoychev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco De la Maza having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Sven Brask who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mirolyub Dragoychev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Falckner FC's attentive Severino Gabrio managed to snatch the ball when Jordi Alba made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Brask in the 13th minute of the match. Krum Nikolchov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Loco De la Maza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Obuchowicz in the 16th minute. Krum Nikolchov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Slavyan Zanev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Severino Gabrio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gianluca Vialli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gianluca Vialli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krum Nikolchov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Brask in the 46th minute of play. Loco De la Maza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zdzislaw Obuchowicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 72nd minute, Severino Gabrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lokomotiv Plovdiv made a substitution. Facundo Nazario replaced Sven Brask. In the 73rd match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Gabrio to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mirolyub Dragoychev came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco De la Maza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Nazario in the 84th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Facundo Nazario notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza. Loco De la Maza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Falckner FC made a substitution. Jose Baldovino replaced Olaf Ciempa. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Falckner FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hélder Lago was slow to take the kick. During this time Lokomotiv Plovdiv's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hélder Lago got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Loco De la Maza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hélder Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Facundo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Loco De la Maza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lokomotiv Plovdiv had won after a very even match.
