Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Skellerup FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Atalay Turkay took the corner. Thomás Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Daniel Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Kenn Kuberg. Skellerup FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Sousa in the 13th minute of play forced Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Kenn Kuberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Kenn Kuberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, one of Skellerup FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Capibaribe Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atalay Turkay in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Capibaribe Stars's corner Pan Zhi Peng fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kenn Kuberg quite easily take care of the ball. Kenn Kuberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Sousa's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Sousa in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenn Kuberg saved Skellerup FC from getting behind. In the 39th minute of the match, Stefan-Benjamin Hula got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thomás Toscano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenn Kuberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Atalay Turkay might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenn Kuberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atalay Turkay ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute, Daniel Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Kenn Kuberg. Skellerup FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

Skellerup FC made a substitution. Mehmet Hamdi Erel replaced Patrick Viera. In the 53rdth minute of the game Daniel Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenn Kuberg having to make a save. Capibaribe Stars's Jarl Rossebø was substituted for Daşdämir Albändiyev. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Niklas Rüsander hit a great ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Stefan-Benjamin Hula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Stefan-Benjamin Hula hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Skellerup FC defense, Daniel Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenn Kuberg. The Skellerup FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenn Kuberg should have stopped the shot. Skellerup FC made a substitution. Cyryl Gotfryd replaced Stefan-Benjamin Hula. Cyryl Gotfryd took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomás Toscano. Thomás Toscano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The throw-in from Mihnea Zamfir in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Skellerup FC's Cyryl Gotfryd. Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sousa in the 96th minute of play. Jarl Rossebø hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Capibaribe Stars played a much better game than Skellerup FC and deserved their victory. The Skellerup FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
