In the 18th minute Zarco Lameiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Mourinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Per-Olof Sigfridsson in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sporting Clube Patrício's Zeferino Cardoso. 25 minutes into the match, MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Adrian Mutu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ademar Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Adrian Mutu came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the MengãOShowS - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Mutu couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Adrian Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Zeferino Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's attentive Per-Olof Sigfridsson managed to snatch the ball when Zeferino Cardoso made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. After 60 minutes, Manuel Lages mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Clube Patrício and the MengãOShowS - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Manuel Lages hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Mutu in the 65th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Adrian Mutu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Mutu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Tony Albuquerque was substituted for Amadeu Munhoz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zarco Lameiras in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Mourinho saved MengãOShowS - FDFDF from getting behind. Sporting Clube Patrício's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
