Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 龚明潮 in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Viriato Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Mutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viriato Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Mutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Arruda in the 12th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Viriato Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Adrian Mutu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viriato Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of MengãOShowS - FDFDF booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliano Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viriato Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Mutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes, Adrian Mutu made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Adrian Mutu put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Viriato Leal. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Clube Patrício's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aírton Travassos was slow to take the kick. During this time MengãOShowS - FDFDF's players had a chance to rest. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Aírton Travassos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Viriato Leal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's attentive Per-Olof Sigfridsson managed to snatch the ball when Julião Gomes made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Viriato Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Mutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The referee ignored Sporting Clube Patrício's protests and gave Horácio Chagas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Horácio Chagas hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Patrício defense, Adrian Mutu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Leal. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Leal should have stopped the shot. Adrian Mutu scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viriato Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Arruda made a kick off. Viriato Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Mutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Viriato Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Patrício defense, Adrian Mutu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Leal. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Leal should have stopped the shot. When MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Adrian Mutu in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Clube Patrício's goalie prevented a goal. The MengãOShowS - FDFDF fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Adrian Mutu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sporting Clube Patrício fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for MengãOShowS - FDFDF. Frank Arruda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Viriato Leal. 0-8. After 71st play minutes Adrian Mutu shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Viriato Leal and just under the crossbar into goal. After 76 minutes of play, MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Adrian Mutu made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! MengãOShowS - FDFDF made a substitution. Rômulo Moreira replaced 龚明潮. Viriato Leal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Adrian Mutu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-11 in the ordered_time% minute. 85 minutes into the game, Adrian Mutu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Viriato Leal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MengãOShowS - FDFDF played a much better game than Sporting Clube Patrício and deserved their victory. The Sporting Clube Patrício players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
