In the 4th minute Oden Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özgür Özbay scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Faust, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oden Vandamme in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Bears are Back's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Jan Faust reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Buturugã didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bears are Back. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sulo Montaña was the one to do the kick off. Jan Faust showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bears are Back defense, Sulo Montaña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Faust. The Bears are Back fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Faust should have stopped the shot. Atak Koral kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Bears are Back's Oden Vandamme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Juliusz Gardocki charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juliusz Gardocki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
