Equipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Cristi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macedonio Fonticoba in the 12th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Cristi in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Eusko saved Vampiros Aztecas from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macedonio Fonticoba in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Furman saved Equipo from getting behind. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macedonio Fonticoba in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Thomas Verheydt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macedonio Fonticoba in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes in the game Benjamin Wood did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dé Töpper. After some careless play in the Equipo defense, Hugo Hernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Furman. The Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Furman should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Cristi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ronaldo Cristi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Eusko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Elliott Granqvist made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dé Töpper immediately put the ball in play. Laureano Eusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Cristi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Cristi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Eusko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Cristi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Vampiros Aztecas's Laureano Eusko. Laureano Eusko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pietro Salles hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Equipo's Juliusz Cezar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elliott Granqvist, made in the 88th minute of the game. After 89 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Dé Töpper. After a rather tough play, Equipo's Jairo Zambrano got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ismael Furman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from 武 曹操.
