In the 20th minute Bartosz Wicherek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Bartosz Wicherek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chiquito Flores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute.
