Isto Leppiniemi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Bjurström. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 32 minutes into the match, SE7EN's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Fransson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tzvetan Mudrov. Tzvetan Mudrov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven-Erik Fransson came out and tried to block the shot, but Tzvetan Mudrov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 32nd minute. Guerau Sastre's late challenge caught a SE7EN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guerau Sastre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Guerau Sastre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The SE7EN fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when SE7EN's Remigio Chico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ivar Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isto Leppiniemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ivar Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isto Leppiniemi in the 58th minute of the match.
