Sexolution FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave General Velásquez the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Sexolution FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan Gummow to maneuver through the defense. Roy Monck hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Sexolution FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Goycolea came free, but Crawford Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Irigoyen in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Crawford Lucas saved Sexolution FC from getting behind. Henry Tucknott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duncan Gummow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, one of General Velásquez:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for General Velásquez. General Velásquez:s Henry Tucknott showed great skill when he stopped Carl Devine:s penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Sexolution FC's Carl Devine slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Tucknott. That made the score 2-1 after 44 minutes of play. In the 46th minute Duncan Gummow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Tucknott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bill Mcneven made a kick off. After 55 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Irigoyen. Duncan Gummow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Henry Tucknott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Devine, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Murdock Andrusiow struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Henry Tucknott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sexolution FC. Carl Devine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Devine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Henry Tucknott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Murdock Andrusiow fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sexolution FC's protests and gave Murdock Andrusiow a yellow card for diving instead. Murdock Andrusiow hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Crawford Lucas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manuelo Oñez y Loyola. Sexolution FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
