The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintino Carvalhais got free with Lastra Pinga in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Vonortas in the 5th minute of the match. Quintino Carvalhais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Lastra Pinga made a huge save. Vassilis Vonortas took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laçın Cumayev. Laçın Cumayev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lastra Pinga made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Quintino Carvalhais sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 16th minute of play forced Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goalkeeper Lastra Pinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vassilis Vonortas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laçın Cumayev saved SC Braga from getting behind. Lastra Pinga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintino Carvalhais in the 25th minute. Lastra Pinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 27th minute of play. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Zigmantas Gimbutas scored to the left of an out of position Lastra Pinga, making the score, 1-1. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Lastra Pinga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ from getting a goal against them. Vassilis Vonortas scored 1-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laçın Cumayev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zigmantas Gimbutas made a kick off. Vassilis Vonortas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laçın Cumayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Lastra Pinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Parente didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Braga's Geraldo Lucas was substituted for André Jordão. Amado Parente kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Vassilis Vonortas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laçın Cumayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Vassilis Vonortas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laçın Cumayev. That made the score 1-3 after 69 minutes of play. 73 minutes into the match, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Vassilis Vonortas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laçın Cumayev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Cieri came free, but Lastra Pinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Åke Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lastra Pinga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
