Spectators: 171 (Terracing: 129, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 4th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Renato Goycolea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Tucknott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henry Tucknott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 13th minute of play. General Velásquez's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Zigmantas Gimbutas scored to the left of an out of position Henry Tucknott, making the score, 1-0. The corner led SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais to fire away a dangerous shot which Henry Tucknott despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 25 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Tuñon. André Jordão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henry Tucknott came out and tried to block the shot, but André Jordão slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Johans. Quintino Carvalhais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Henry Tucknott made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Lu Xun Lei got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Jordão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Goycolea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laçın Cumayev having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Anselmo Johans hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 55th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Tucknott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Goycolea in the 68th minute of play. Zigmantas Gimbutas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Tucknott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Tucknott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Tucknott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 81st minute of the match. Antonio Cieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SC Braga. After 85 minutes of play, SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Tucknott was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Tucknott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Anselmo Johans kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Braga fans cheered their team off the field, for while General Velásquez had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
