Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zigmantas Gimbutas started the match with the kick off. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Kemal Selman. Quintino Carvalhais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laçın Cumayev was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Güneş Süleyman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Güneş Süleyman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Laçın Cumayev made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Hilmi Uyaralp sent off a good shot on target. Laçın Cumayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilmi Uyaralp in the 19th minute. When Quintino Carvalhais came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintino Carvalhais couldn't finish the play. Quintino Carvalhais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laçın Cumayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güneş Süleyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 30th minute of play. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais. But to his dismay, Quintino Carvalhais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güneş Süleyman in the 35th minute of play. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilmi Uyaralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Braga were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Kemal Selman made a kick off. After 54 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Lira. SC Braga's Geraldo Lucas was substituted for André Jordão. SC Braga made a substitution. Antonio Cieri replaced Quintino Carvalhais. Stig-Åke Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilmi Uyaralp in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Cieri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Cieri slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, SC Braga's Antonio Cieri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilmi Uyaralp in the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Hilmi Uyaralp came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lu Xun Lei who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SC Braga's corner Alberto Malheiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Nordin in the 91st minute of the match. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Cieri in the 95th minute. The SC Braga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Braga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
