Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahri Ülmen in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Bartoszek came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Zryw Samsonów's Ronnie Gregoire got control of the ball when Freddy Valentine tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zryw Samsonów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcial Lore was slow to take the kick. During this time Yala's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Yala's Yavuz Acabay getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Zryw Samsonów booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gao Cheng Fei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Morera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Curcio having to interfere. Niki Bundev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ronnie Gregoire made a huge save. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luo Ao Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bartoszek in the 36th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Morera in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Roman Bartoszek made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Curcio. Yala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After the first half Zryw Samsonów were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Bartoszek was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Yala's Niki Bundev got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Freddy Claude hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Freddy Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luo Ao Le took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeledon Curcio. Yala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zryw Samsonów's goalkeeper Ronnie Gregoire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Yala's Marcial Lore to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronnie Gregoire despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Yavuz Acabay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Gregoire having to interfere. Roman Bartoszek took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Curcio. Zeledon Curcio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Zryw Samsonów's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
