Andreas Hansen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 30th minute Salomón Avendaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Hansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 37th minute of play. Andreas Hansen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes TurboUC got a freekick which was hit by Dušan Tadić. If John Snow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

TurboUC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ángel Riesco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Hansen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jeppe Tverskov hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Salomón Avendaño notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen. Andreas Hansen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Ángel Riesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Andreas Hansen made a huge save. 95 minutes into the game, Juan González was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TurboUC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Nordsjælland the free kick. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan González didn't get a good kick on the ball. TurboUC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
