The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gong Qi Fan in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Swain saved Club Dep. Union Madereros from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gong Qi Fan in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Swain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davis Doty made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Geordi Berthelette. In the 24thth minute of the game Gong Qi Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 25th minute of play. Luis Swain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Gong Qi Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gong Qi Fan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantijn De Hond in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Playa Malvín got a corner. Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stelian Murgu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Stelian Murgu made a great header on Playa Malvín's corner, it was just that Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Ourente to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 51st minute of the match. The tension between the Club Dep. Union Madereros and the Playa Malvín players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Sixto Janpier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Lucas Ioritz was substituted for Ismael Ourente. A collision led to Club Dep. Union Madereros getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Sixto Janpier hit a great ball. Cornelio Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 63 minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stelian Murgu who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Constantijn De Hond heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 67thth minute of the game Gong Qi Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 70th minute of play. Gong Qi Fan might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Swain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gong Qi Fan ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Luis Swain managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Gonzalo Castro replaced Jabier Igual. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinto Ampudia in the 89th minute of the match. Quinto Ampudia took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Swain. Luis Swain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.
