An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Pinho in the 8th minute of play forced C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goalkeeper Waldir Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Lamberto in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Saldanha saved Squadra Demarchi from getting behind. In the 13thth minute of the game Pascual Lamberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Pascual Lamberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pascual Lamberto took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Saldanha. Oscar Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 21st match minute, C. S. Peron y Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Castro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Lamberto in the 27th minute of the match. When Claudinho Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Squadra Demarchi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Pinho couldn't finish the play. In the 31stth minute of the game Pascual Lamberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baldomiro Tximitx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Saldanha having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascual Lamberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Frascuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 72 minutes, Ernesto Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Demarchi and the C. S. Peron y Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Pereira. After 76 minutes of play C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Alejandro Frascuelo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 77th minute, Alejandro Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Xavier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Waldir Araújo. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute Pascual Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Liher kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Waldir Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Claudinho Loyola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir Araújo skillfully saved the ball. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Waldir Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C. S. Peron y Belgrano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
