In the 4th minute Ortzi Goxenola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baturhan Togay made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Unikurdos United F.C.'s Gaizka Mendieta. Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Fribäck in the 11th minute of play. Eriberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Fribäck in the 14th minute of play. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Gaizka Mendieta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Baturhan Togay in the 19 minute of the game. Daniel Fribäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eriberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Fribäck in the 24th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cura del Futbol's Sesuldo Teijelo threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Natalio Gergori, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 29 minutes Unikurdos United F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baturhan Togay who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Fribäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Ortzi Goxenola came free, but Eriberto Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Hever Zapatero was substituted for Joaquin Champ. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalie and right to Natalio Gergori. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Unikurdos United F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 36th match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Gergori to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Unikurdos United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil Haya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sesuldo Teijelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturhan Togay in the 41st minute of the match. Bonifacio Reynardo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Hever Zapatero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eriberto Erlantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Pawelczyk was the one to do the kick off. When Alfred Pawelczyk came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cura del Futbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Pawelczyk couldn't finish the play. Daniel Fribäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Erlantz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Fribäck ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Fribäck in the 55th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Eriberto Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sesuldo Teijelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pawelczyk in the 57th minute of play. Unikurdos United F.C. made a substitution. Rojelio Carrera replaced Daniel Fribäck. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Gorka Astola was substituted for Ortzi Goxenola. 60 minutes in the game Bonifacio Reynardo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ahmet Hasan Turan. Rojelio Carrera's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rojelio Carrera helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rojelio Carrera. In the 72nd minute, Gaizka Mendieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Tartalo Bazquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Erlantz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 76th minute Gorka Astola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Gaizka Mendieta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eriberto Erlantz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 83 minutes into the game, Rojelio Carrera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eriberto Erlantz. Rojelio Carrera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gorka Astola in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Erlantz saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. Basil Haya made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Aztore. Eriberto Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorka Astola in the 92nd minute of the match. The Cura del Futbol supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Unikurdos United F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Unikurdos United F.C..
