Oscar Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Joaquin Champ sent off a good shot on target. If Nilson Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Daniel Fribäck took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Oscar Saldanha to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute, Daniel Fribäck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Saldanha. The goal made the score 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Daniel Fribäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ortzi Goxenola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Júnior Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squadra Demarchi's protests and gave Júnior Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Júnior Meirelles got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Unikurdos United F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Marco Solo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Fribäck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Saldanha. The goal made the score 3-0. Daniel Fribäck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Saldanha having to make a save. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Fribäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Basil Haya managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ciro Castro in the 41 minute of the game. If Daniel Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Unikurdos United F.C. were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Squadra Demarchi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ortzi Goxenola took the corner. The corner led Unikurdos United F.C.'s Min Bustelo to fire away a dangerous shot which Oscar Saldanha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, one of Squadra Demarchi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Squadra Demarchi:s Oscar Saldanha showed great skill when he stopped Min Bustelo:s penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Pinho was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Fribäck came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Fribäck went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Unikurdos United F.C. made a substitution. Gorka Astola replaced Ortzi Goxenola. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Rojelio Carrera was substituted for Daniel Fribäck. Rojelio Carrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Saldanha having to interfere. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorka Astola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorka Astola in the 77th minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Moura hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Rojelio Carrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hever Zapatero might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hever Zapatero ran back to his position shaking his head. Sesuldo Teijelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gorka Astola took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Saldanha. Oscar Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorka Astola in the 91st minute of play. Claudinho Pinho charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho Pinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Claudinho Pinho got a free kick in the 95th minute. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hever Zapatero in the 97th minute of play. Unikurdos United F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
