Süleyman Tunçhan got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Xelo Trilla. Frank Matanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Cardoso in the 42nd minute of play. When Erasmo Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Frank Matanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Santana in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Cisco Birlik FC's Mirza Togan was substituted for Ömer Demirci. In the 77th minute Richard Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Matanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Frank Matanov throw himself and got hold of the ball when Richard Saldanha in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
