In the 11th minute Lucas Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hong Xun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Binjamin Ketelers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Tabalongo AFC's Yerko Van Dijk to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Toscano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zhang Hong Xun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Győrfi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crisólia FBPA were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Tabalongo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rosendo Colon took the corner. In the 25thth minute of the game Lucas Beltran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabalongo AFC's Zhang Hong Xun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Crisólia FBPA were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Tabalongo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rosendo Colon took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tabalongo AFC's goalie and right to Nastasio Mezquita. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tabalongo AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Győrfi in the 30th minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 邵南响 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Ismael Toscano managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Tabalongo AFC's Binjamin Ketelers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th minute Binjamin Ketelers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Tabalongo AFC got a corner. Crisólia FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zhang Hong Xun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Győrfi in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Binjamin Ketelers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iván Győrfi took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zhang Hong Xun. Zhang Hong Xun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tabalongo AFC made a substitution. Serafín Berganza replaced Ariel Bautista. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Binjamin Ketelers in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Toscano saved Crisólia FBPA from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Győrfi came free, but Zhang Hong Xun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Constancio Jaque came free, but Ismael Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Binjamin Ketelers's shot from short distance in the 69th minute.
