In the 39th minute Leonides Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ain Averin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Leonides Rosio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ain Averin. FC Dundee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Rosio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. FC Dundee made a substitution. Edvin Hargi replaced Kaido Jaas. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ain Averin firmly grabbed it by the left post. The FC Dundee supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching San Lorenzo de Sarandi's performance. The match ended with a win for San Lorenzo de Sarandi.
