The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Currito Torrente was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Aznaro Rua who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Dan Wennerqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Aznaro Rua lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Dan Wennerqvist. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrián Espadas to make the kick off. Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Espadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Currito Torrente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tullidos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
