But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th minute, Alonzo Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrián Espadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Rui Santos made a huge save. With a little luck, Atlético Zelaya's Rui Santos got control of the ball when Hernan Lano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atlético Zelaya's Rui Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 23rd minute of play. Rui Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrián Espadas went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Abechuco in the 26th minute of play. Rui Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Venceslao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Hernan Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Abechuco in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Atlético Zelaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Soroca F.C. got a corner. Atlético Zelaya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The wind increased when Adrián Espadas made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Raimundo Playo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Necula in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Santos saved Atlético Zelaya from getting behind. After 65 minutes Atlético Zelaya's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zézinho Neiva who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Rui Santos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Răzvan Necula cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rui Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Rodolfo Atarrabi replaced Hernan Lano. After having played for 76 minutes, Răzvan Necula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Necula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Răzvan Necula scored 6-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Zelaya's goalkeeper Rui Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Atlético Zelaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Răzvan Necula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Răzvan Necula might have been able to make a better finish in the 100th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Răzvan Necula ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Soroca F.C. had won after a very even match.
