Rui Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Poli Puyol in the 5th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Meira came free, but Rui Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Erroman charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Erroman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rui Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almir Meira's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Dênis Vinhas hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Atlético Zelaya got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Gitano. 37 minutes into the match, Jacobo Abechuco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Gaúcho. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Abechuco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Casa Real de Savóia F.C. booed when Atlético Zelaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Almir Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Almir Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Almir Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Rui Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Poli Puyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute Almir Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Paelemans in the 55th minute. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Tomas Paelemans was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rui Santos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rui Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richárd Lovász, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Tomas Paelemans got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 65th match minute, Atlético Zelaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Zelaya's Rui Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Meira in the 69th minute of play. When Edelmiro Erroman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Ladislao Gombal charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Atlético Zelaya's Rui Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Meira in the 78th minute of play. Almir Meira took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Santos. Rui Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rui Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Paelemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Meira in the 95th minute of play forced Atlético Zelaya's goalkeeper Rui Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casa Real de Savóia F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atlético Zelaya for a fine match.
